I restored this car in my garage about three years ago. Still have all of the pictures of it. Amazing that it is selling for so much, especially since I painted it myself. The white is Krylon rattle can! I choose that color scheme to look like a 1963 Amphicar. Never could find a front bumper for it. I never thought I would turn out to be a high end Messerschmitt restorer!

I can put the pictures back up. Maybe as a subset to the Frankenschmitt page. The information on Otto’s restorations was so misleading…..any confidence I may have had on auction houses is just about gone.
