RM Auctions and Gooding both have a 10% Buyer’s Premium,
while MECUM has a 6% Buyer’s Premium.
All buyer’s premiums are added to the “Hammer Price.”

No indication of what day it will go up but they estimate it at $70-$90K. Perhaps they are extremely optimistic or have it confused with a different vehicle? Time will tell.

UPDATE: Apparently Sold for a Hammer Price of $75,000

Russo & Steele has this 1951 Crosley SuperSport HotShot scheduled for sometime that week as well.

also- note that the Fiat Giardiniera was previously sold by Bonhams in CT just 2 months ago and the same photos and description are used in this auction, but the “estimate” is almost DOUBLE what the actual sale price was 2 months ago? What is up with that? Did the original sale fall through? or maybe the seller had a matching set of identical cars….
