Crosley Hot Shot didn’t stand a chance

against the high winds and damage caused by collapsed tents and poles falling at the 2010 Russo & Steele Auction in Scottsdale AZ.  I was wondering why this car had not crossed the block.

    I saw videos that showed many cars with that thin plastic sheeting on them flapping around violently in the wind. Looking at the photos I wonder when they decided to use that pallet wrap stuff on top of the plastic?
    Flapping plasic sheeting can damage the paint on a car, that is why you should never trailer a car with a car cover on it.

    The plastic wrap was no match for the tent pole that apparently swiped this car, see the collapsed windscreen? Sad indeed.
