August 1-2, Golden CO 2008 National Meet of The Vintage Microcar Club
Thanks to Marc Delmont and the Mile High Microcar Club:
The 2008 National Meet will be held in Golden Colorado the weekend of Aug 2 2008 Featured Marque will the Citroen 2CV
The location will be the same as in 1998, Heritage Square
This was a bunch of fun back then, they have little streets that only our cars can park on in front of little shops, there is a small amusement park and other things.

July 11,12,13 Newton MA Gould's Lucky 13th Annual Microcar & Minicar Classic Event
Hosted by Charles & Nancy Gould with base camp at their home in Newton (just outside Boston).
The Downtown Racine Corporation has announced that a vintage micro car show will be held during the summer of 2008 in Downtown Racine, Wisconsin.
“Micros on the Monument” will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Monument Square in Downtown Racine. This one-day event will be a display of vintage Micro cars from the 50’s and 60’s. Participants and visitors will enjoy a day along the shores of Lake Michigan in a home town atmosphere.

Marking the historic 50th anniversary of TG500, BMW 600 & also the Goggomobil T700, launch in the UK - other microcar friends and enthusiasts have been invited to join us for this very special “100th birthday party” celebration.

The classic Victorian seaside resort of Southport (traditional pier, funfair, sand dunes, famous shopping boulevard etc) with lots of value-for-money accommodation is only 5 miles from our own camping site at RAF Woodvale. Just 30 mins from Liverpool “European Capital of Culture 08” and gateway to Lake District or North Wales for onward holidays. Special arrangements for families.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE HELP US. This is the first-ever MOC rally in North West England. Please let us know if you are likely to be with us. No commitment, of course. Just an indication. We shall eventually need names to smooth your 24-hour secure entry to this Ministry of Defence site. The sooner we know who, and how many, people could be attending the better so that we have a checklist for the RAF security gate and for our planning. Kindly send an email, phone or post to us, when you’ve finished reading this. It really isn’t too early – and we’d be very grateful ! Thanks.
